RULES

ATTENTION

Please review all RULES before attending our events. By attending our events, you agree to the RULES listed and will abide by them. Failure to abide by the RULES will result in removal from events or ban from future events. Other violations can also result in citations or criminal charges from law enforcement.

RULES

ABSOLUTELY NO TAKEOVER ACTIVITIES WILL BE TOLERATED!

NO DRIFTING, NO BURNOUTS, NO DONUTS, NO STREET RACING, AND NO OTHER RECKLESS, STUNTING, OR DANGEROUS BEHAVIOR AND ACTIONS will be tolerated on venue properties or on public roads. Failure to abide by this rule will result with an immediate lifetime ban from all future Cars & Coffee Cleveland events as a participant and spectator along with potential criminal charges by law enforcement. Those gathering on/at the streets attempting to incite or promote these behaviors will also be subject to bans, citations, or criminal charges.

DRIVE WITH CARE & CAUTION

NO SPEEDING in the parking lots (keep it around 5 mph). Please BE CAREFUL of pedestrians when driving around the parking lots or for those crossing streets. Always OBEY ALL TRAFFIC LAWS, including speed limits, on public roads. Failure to abide by traffic laws may result in a citation by law enforcement.

KEEP THE EXHAUSTS & VOLUME UNDER CONTROL

NO EXCESSIVE REVVING. We don't mind hearing you rev it but be mindful and try to keep it short and sweet. ABSOLUTELY NO 2-STEPPING. Also please KEEP VEHICLE SOUND SYSTEMS AT A MINIMUM VOLUME. If excessive revving, 2-stepping, or excessive sound system noise occurs, staff will ask you to leave the events immediately.

BE RESPECTFUL & CLEANLY

Please BE KIND AND RESPECTFUL to staff, attendees, and their property. DO NOT TOUCH other people's cars, this includes leaning or brushing against them, and do not sit in other people's cars unless you have permission from the owner to do so. Also, be respectful to the venue property. This means NO LITTERING. Please dispose of any trash in a waste container. If you have a pet with you, please ensure any pet waste is cleaned up and disposed of properly.

HEALTH GUIDELINES

*These Health & Safety Guidelines Are Only Temporary*

Guidelines Will Expire On June 2, 2021 As Directed By The OH Governor

Some Host Locations May Still Operate Under Self-Imposed Or County Restrictions

Regardless Of State Guidelines Expiration Date

In These Cases We Will Operate Under Host Location COVID Rules & Guidelines

  • If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or come in direct contact with someone who knowingly has COVID-19, please DO NOT attend and continue to self-quarantine for at least 2 weeks.

  • If you have any symptoms consistent with COVID-19, please DO NOT attend.

  • Take your temperature before attending. If you have a temperature of 99.9 or higher, please DO NOT attend.

  • If you feel ill for any reason, please DO NOT attend.

  • We do highly recommend that those who are more high risk to contracting COVID-19 (elderly, those with preexisting conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, etc.) or those that visit or reside with those individuals, please DO NOT attend.

  • While we will be gathering, we still encourage social distancing. Considering we are in an open parking lot, we should be able to keep a reasonable distance (Federal guidelines recommend 6 feet) from others to stay safe and cautious, but still be able to socialize.

  • Masks are encouraged, especially if you do plan on being closer to others.

  • We recommend holding off on those handshakes for now. A good alternative is the elbow bump.

  • We don't see the need to recommend gloves, but if you feel the need to take that extra precaution, please do so.

  • The frequent use of hand sanitizer and sanitary wipes is always encouraged. We don't provide hand sanitizer and sanitary wipes, so we recommend you carry your own supply with you.

  • Considering current State COVID-19 guidelines, restrooms may not be open to the public, so please use restrooms at home before attending. If restrooms will be unavailable at a host location, we will note it in the event details. See event calendars for all scheduled events.

  • If the need does arise where the meet gets too large and too many people are not following the COVID-19 Guidelines, or if the host location owners or law enforcement recommend ending the meet, please abide by their recommendations and Cars & Coffee Cleveland staff directions and depart the parking lot and property in a safe and orderly manner.

We ask that you follow these guidelines to create a safe and responsible environment for our Cars & Coffee Cleveland community. Organizers will be present to ensure COVID-19 Guidelines are followed as well as all standard Cars & Coffee Cleveland Rules. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and update these guidelines as the situation evolves. If the situation warrants canceling meets or changing the current season schedule, we will do so and announce it across our social media pages and website. Please be safe, be healthy, and have fun.
